She's tough as nails & deadly to boot! Another good read from Mish! Steamy sexy times too! I read this in a few hours couldn't put it down!
Very interesting story, with drama, lots of blood and gruesome beatings....but all in all comes nicely in this book....of course I liked the ending a lot.
A friend of mine suggested I read this book and I'm so glad I did! This story is very plot driven and the characters are very well written.
Joey was my favorite because she was such a strong, witty character. I really hope there's a sequel to this story.
This an action romance that captivates your attention since the first page. Joey or Joella is a magnetic kind of good/bad character and Emma is a femme good/naive and despite being opposites they found a way to love each other. I like Mrs Daniels versatile style in this genre, the right combination of twists and turns, fast pace and adventurous. A different Mish Daniels with her unique signature, I definitely recommend it.
Another killer opening line from the pen of Mish Daniels instantly whisked me away into the dangerous world of Joey McLain. I really enjoyed the first person narration, it built empathy with the main protagonist immediately. She's a complex character operating in a dark, illegal underworld, but I was on her team right away. The epitome of steely, cool professionalism, with an implied past & plenty to keep the reader interested in her future! The plot is winding & fast paced, the action (of all kinds!) handled beautifully- it played in my head like a movie. Seriously hoping this develops into a series- I want more!
Mish Daniels is one of my favorite authors. This book is a must read.
This was a page turner from beginning to the end! Can't wait to read what happens next. I will read as many books to this novel that Mish Daniels publish of the Joey McClain series it's that good.
